Frequently Answer Questions

1) Do You Actually Have To Cycle Through Its High And Mid To Get To Its Low?

The order of the flashlight is low, medium and high. The flashlight starts on low and later cycles up in power. Each time you turn the flashlight off and again back on, it automatically begins on low.

2) Is It Perfect Size To Carry On A Keychain?

Although, it is a little big for a keychain carry, but it is certainly not that huge. However, it totally depends on you how you use it and carry your keys.

It can be too large for a keychain with over 8 keys and it can add too much bulk. It can also get easily scratched up by the keys after sometime.

3) Can You Use 14500 Battery For this Flashlight?

The company’s website indicates NiMH or alkaline batteries only. You can also buy rechargeable batteries in order to save high cost on this product.

However, going from 1.2 to 3.6 volts nominal would certainly kill the flashlight. This in turn will lead to either instant death or immensely reduced lifetime of the flashlight.

However, the actual outcome can also be worse than this, so it is suggested not to test it with this type of battery.

Verdict

The E12 flashlight turns compact size into go-anywhere and extremely functional lighting. This daily flashlight can certainly outshine much bigger lights with its high level performance, durability, versatility, and reliability. Overall, the flashlight is solid, and the tail switch is sturdy and extremely easy to operate.

Furthermore, the three lighting modes cover the daily use cases from walking through the house to reading in bed and to putting away the livestock in the rain.

And yes, certainly much more than this!

Everyone who has used the product have much appreciated, admired and recommended it to all. Undoubtedly, it is a wonderful product and a great value for your money.

The E12 was my first venture away from Maglites and cheap department store stuff, as well as my first Fenix. For it’s price it’s nearly perfect, thought some might prefer a clip on it in which case I believe one of the LD series Fenix lights has a clip that is a direct fit – the LD09 maybe?

Anyway, it’s very intuitive (or tactical as some say) and small enough to carry all day long with room to spare. I like Fenix and have a few others models but, despite the E12 being the least bright I still use it the most due to it’s small size and wonderful user interface.
